The chambray, or denim shirt is a staple in my closet. I have two shirts in two shades, light and dark. These are great go-to’s for the everyday that dress a man in both modern style and rugged apparel. It’s a perfect pairing of manly with gentleman while being a simple compliment to any outfit.
The denim shirt is something that I use as an every day option. It can be worn by itself, which I am modeling here, or as a layer under a light jacket. It’s the shirt that goes with everything, because it has no pattern and because it’s neutral and as such, it’s a staple that every man should own. Pair this with a white Stafford under shirt and a pair of well fitted tapered skinny jeans with a no-show sock, some leather shoes, and you’ve got a go-to staple that you don’t have to think twice about when you go to the closet.
Get yourself two options in a dark denim and an acid-washed lighter denim and you’ll have a go-to option for every occasion. I also have two pairs in short-sleeve for that go-to summer look. Both my chambray shirts have pearl snap buttons for easy on and off (ladies).
