I’ve done a post which can be seen here for the Dollar Beard Club. A man’s daily grooming and beard styling needs delivered straight to your door. But not every guy wants a beard, or can grow one. This is where the Dollar Shave Club comes in handy. Affordably priced razors shipped straight to your door.
Just in time for Spring. The Jean Jacket. Rocked in the 80’s and never looked back. The jean jacket is something every man woman and child had. This look has come back, but there are some ‘bad’ looks to avoid. If you’re really hip you’re fully trying to embrace the 90’s with the light acid washed jacket and high waisted pants, but I’m not seeing that trend last for the masses.
Sunglasses are the ultimate accessory. It’s an easy way to add style to your look without breaking the bank, and it’s often something that people keep with them at all times, much like their wallet, cell phone and keys.
I know many people who spend gobs on money on a pair of “name brand” shades. I however, will lose, break or scratch my sunglasses no matter how well I take care of them, how well they’re made, or who’s name is on them. I also prefer to have more options. And when you’re spending hundreds of dollars on a single pair for name brand shades, one cannot afford to have multiple shapes, colors and sizes to fit every style, occasion or outfit. So I prefer to go cheap and use the left over money to afford more options than just one.
The chambray, or denim shirt is a staple in my closet. I have two shirts in two shades, light and dark. These are great go-to’s for the everyday that dress a man in both modern style and rugged apparel. It’s a perfect pairing of manly with gentleman while being a simple compliment to any outfit.
Gentlemen,
Here’s a simple tip. The #1 easiest way to dress better. The shoe gentlemen, it matters.
The most put together man with style, poise and sophistication can have his entire look end poorly by wearing the wrong shoe, or a bad shoe. The Shoe Maketh the Man.continue reading
There are some well known fashion advice that bares repeating – since not everyone knows. Whatever leather you’re wearing, needs to be the same throughout your outfit. Black shoe? Wear a black belt. Brown shoe? Wear a brown belt. Leather, wear leather. Cloth/canvas shoe, try a cloth belt.
As with any rule there are exceptions. But the exceptions in the case of shoe and belt are so rare that they’re barely worth mentioning. Still, I’ll give it a go.
Men, this fall season instead of wearing the same thicker winter jacket that you’re going to wear all winter, try embracing the fall weather changes by dressing in layers. The more the merrier. Here are some examples of some layered looks. And remember The Scarf for those blustery days.
There is an accessory that has been largely overlooked in modern fashion for men and I’m not sure why. The scarf is a simple addition that can dress up any look and help set you apart from the average man.
Like the wallet, the keychain is an every-day-carry. But is everything you’re carrying something you need everyday? I used to carry a key to everything I had locked up, in my pocket. It was loud, bulky, uncomfortable and most of the time unused. I switched to a carabiner out of necessity, but happened to love the freedom it offered my pockets. That feeling of freedom I wanted to explore. I started looking critically at the things I would keep on my keychain and came to the conclusion that the only things I needed on there, were the keys to my truck and the keys to my house.
